think4yourself: azspot: John Cole welp, Lincoln was actually a racist too and fully in support of white supremacy*. So while he and Glenn Beck probably have more in common than the romanticized history of the United States would grant, I still doubt he’d have signed the emancipation proclamation… though he still would’ve hung 200 native americans that same day as Lincoln did. *note Lincoln’s direct quote: “I will say, then, that I am not, nor ever have been in favor of bringing about in any way the social and political equality of the white and black races…. I as much as any other man am in favor of having the superior position assigned to the white race.” -Abraham Lincoln
